i just got the set of springs from Skanline.com, and i was wondering which one gives the best velocity(highest). there is like alot of them and i dont no which ones to put in my Maverick. And what about the spring that came with the Maverick in the box... is that spring anything good?

Once again, I am not very well versed in the ways of pumps, but here goes!
What you have there is the basic nelson-based spring kit. You should have two different types of springs; valve and main spring. You will also have (I think) at least 1 of each red, yellow and blue...Red being the strongest, yellow medium, and blue weakest. You can adjust the velocity two ways (both if you wanted to):
1. Replace the main spring with a higher tension (red) spring.
2. Replace the valve spring with a lower tension spring (I thing it's lower=more gas)
The stock springs shouldn't give you any trouble...as a matter of fact, I've heard of mavs and hornets that have never changed their springs.
