are silencers illegal? if not....

Hi, i am sort of new to the sport, and i was wondering. are silencers illegal? if not are there any for the a-5. and if they are illegal is there anything i can do about the noise it makes. i want to make it quieter since i play woodsball.

They are illegal. And get a barrel with more porting if you want to make it quieter (sp).

i have a flatline barrel, if that helps. and i dont understand why they are illegal. i just want to quiet my gun down. any and all help would be great, escpecially if its from someone who knows about a-5's.

You know the thing is, I'd rather have firepower over being quiet. As once you fire the first shot there gonna know where you are anyways. If you have more firepower you can fire more shots after the first one. And theres not to much you can do for the a-5 as oposed to the 98c.
