Why do people go out and spend two, maybe three grand on guns that cost mroe because of looks rather than preformance? I am a stalwart protector of quality over quantity, and beleive that heck, you can have a nice looking gun, but take the high preformance over nice looks! Gosh, I just saw this expensive gun for like $2000.00, looked a lot like the PSG-1 (had the buttstock of one anyway) but I've heard that a lot of those guns don't have the preformance to match the looks simply b/c the gun body wasn't designed for paintball and sacrifices must be made. Well, each to his own, peace out.

ummmmmmmm, are you canadian?
the only $2000 marker ive seen is like a custom angel, probably even less than that.
peoply buy cool looking markers because they look better. why do you think people pay $100+ to get their markers annoed? because it looks better. also people pay $150+ for milling, which requires anno as well, so milling and anno is like $250+ just for looks, maybe make the marker a little lighter.

I here ya man. Thats basically a stock AT85 with alot of cosmetic modification. You do get what you pay for though. The HK stock it comes with goes for around $500 And the foregrip isnt cheap either. They are very comfortable, but not needed for paintball. The scope is nice but a paintball player would be much better served by a red dot than a real quality scope like that. Areal hk fanatic might not mind spaending the money on one though, most real HK rifles start at around 2-3000. So they have money to waste in the first place. Looks cool though doesn't it.

Not cool b*tch.
Gun was probably airsoft. We have a bunch of those junkies that play on the local field. "Delta 2, Hawk eyes are open. I repeat, HAWK EYES..ARE OPEN. Over and out.."

no its paintball, check it out here- http://www.angelfire.com/ca5/tsoog/pball2.htm
its a pretty neat design with a clip loading feed setup that puts the hopper on the side of the gun, simalar to the warp.

Thought you were talking about the PSG-1 you attached...
When I first saw that gun (bout 2 yrs ago) I thought it was cool. I dunno anymore. Aren't they full-auto only, meaning they can't go semi? If so, I wouldn't want to be anywhere near it.

wow, i paid 500 for this, it's annoed and cocker threaded, not all people pay more for cosmetics, and besides, on the field, booth makrers are more than likely to preform very similar, cosmetics are awesome, i love them. Any gun that costs 2000 isn't just cosmetic changes, or that gun will die.

LOL, I was. That is a Tsg1, custom made by rustys paintball gear. It is built off an at85r. The atxx series of markers are select fire, and do have a lock out for tourney play. I hear that they are not very reliable though, and they are definately a very complex marker. I'm looking into picking one up, just to play around with. I'll never give up my mag though. heres another at85 done by rusty to have the feel of an mp5

Thats kinda cool (the clip), but if someone wanted a gun like that (w/ a scope and everything) why dont they just play airsoft??

yeah, I agree. It seems kind of silly to me to put $800 worth of real HK parts onto a paintball gun. I mean I'm sure that is very ergonimically comfy and all that, but it seems like a waste to spend that much just for looks and a slight increase in comfort.
I wonder if anyone actually buys this stuff off of rusty. The site he has has a bunch of ridiculous stuff like paint morters and paint bazookas. Pretty cool to look at, but unless you run scenario games I could not justify spending the kind of money he wants for all that stuff.
The under barrel m203 launcher looks pretty inviting though. LOL I can just imagine what it would look like on a mag. I mean it would be twice the size of the gun! 30 paintballs in one shot with a 12' spread at 20 ft. Now thats definately going to be a one shot one kill.

nah, that airsoft website kinda sucks.
airsoft is like an army type game, where people shoot small plastic pellets (i think they are 6mm) out of realistic looking guns. the guns are usually 1:1 models of the real thing and people get all into the swat team theme. i am not into that type of thing as i really dont want to get shot by a realistic looking gun, i would rather have fun playing with bright cool looking paintball markers.

Airsoft is kinda fun in the house. I play in my house, basement and everything one on one. It is amusing for a few minutes, it's not real airsoft though, me and my daughter use these guns from k-mart that shot little round disks. It's cool.
