Hey everybody.... I've been reading the reviews on this gun and they all look but people keep saying you need to know about autocockers to use them... what does that mean? I've been playing paintball for awhile now and decided to go all out this time... so i need somebody to tell me what i need to know or learn before i get an autococker. Thanks.

the reason everyone keeps saying that is that most people buy them and have no idea the way the marker actually functions. that being a closed bolt operations versus a blow back and how to time a cocker to shoot properly. i have a black magic and love it. its my first cocker and all i have done is read the facts posted in forums and on websites about how to take care of them. the easiest way to take care of it is to leave it alone. some will say buy the sto and upgrade the frame, i say buy what you want its your money not theirs. ill list a couple sites that have some info on them and can really help you.

Cocker Info Page (http://www.paintballravi.com/Articles/AutocockerInfosheet/ACTroub.html)

Vantrepes (http://www.joinme.net/vantrepes/)

Cocker World (http://www.geocities.com/p8ntballwizard03/home.html) this is nice shows how a cocker works with a gif

hope these help and go for it they are sweet markers very consistant.

their right buy saying that you need to know how to clean and maintain a cocker and most of all how to take it apart and clean it

all u really have to know is clean and fix it, but if you buy it from your local pro shop they should do all the work for free
