I have a Zap ZXS-555 and the stock barrel. I am noticing that im breaking about 30% of the balls i shoot, which are ZAP balls and Brass Eagles. my question is, what is a good ball to shoot? i got a new 9 inch spyder barrel for the gun, so i hope that stops the breakage, but just in case, any tips for buying paint?

Use all-star, evil, marbs, premiums, dusk( it works fine in my teardrop),

I would say get big ball or blitz. You seem to want to keep it to the cheaper end. Don't blame ya'. They're good for practice or just playing outlaw or rec but if you start moving up in you playing you might want tp upgrade the paint to the more expensive stuff. It is better. That BE stuff is junk. Don't waste your money. :D

Theres your only problem...

Balls to go for: Marbs, Big Balls, Anarchy, JT elites, and evil. All star if you want.

it could be feeding problems.... your standard 200 ball hopper tends to do that... might wanna try a revy

Blue streak is nasty paint It is hard, super thin fill. It sounds like you are buying paint from w/m witch is fine if you get Dusk. Dusk is good paint for the pballer on a budget.

Find out what your local field uses for their rental guns. They don't want ball breaks in their guns, it turns people away. Around St. Louis its 75%PMI / 25%Nitro Duck. Frankly, I don't see how you did so well with Zap. I was having 30% breakage IF I kept my velocity under 220fps with Zap Primer. When I dialed up to 280fps it was more like 60% in a J&J ceramic barrel, what a mess!

Buy FRESH! RPS/PMI, DIABLO, or similar grade paint .

Yes, blue streak is terrible. Thick shell, thin liquidy fill. Just get some house paint(paint fron your local store)
