which barrel?

which barrel is the best?...i have a 03' vert cocker .. i have a dye ultralight.. but i want to try other barrels.. to see which one is the best.. do ... should i just go to my local store and get a freak or a teardrop?... which barrel do u reccomend?

Take a tour through this forum's stickies. They address every aspect of barrels and barrel performance, I'm pretty sure that the one concerning paint to barrel match even has neat little charts for the performance of certain barrels with certains paints, a plethora of info to be sure. That should help you to your desicion.

Since you've got a 'Cocker, which is closed bolt, you should look into buying a barrel kit. Why? The ball detent in closed bolt markers are only there to prevent double feeds, and don't do anything to help rollout. The barrel is the only thing keepin the paint in the gun, so a good paint to barrel match is important.

Look at the Scepter and Pipe kits.

Yeah, either look for a kit, or stick with your Ultralight.
