what are some good cheap raptor upgrades? im thinking about a cmi tru-flite barrel, and maybe an x chamber and/or a remote. can both be used together or is it a waste. which is better then? thanks for the help

lol first off, DO NOT get a CMI Barrel.
CMI barrels are crap.
Instead, get a raptor threaded CP One Peice (I believe they make em). Second off do not get an expansion chamber. Instead, get your CO2 tank anti siphoned. THey will know how to do it at your local shop. It costs like $15. It will be much like nitro to have your co2 tank anti siphoned. If you want a grip for your gun, get a gas through foregrip, because it will not restrict the airflow at all. Also, remotes suck. :P :D :pissed:

Quite biased, nice one soso...

Anyways, CMI Barrels do not suck, they're just really small bore, and the CP is much better.

soso is right, get an anti-siphon. As for a remote + x-chamber, the x-chamber undoes what the remote did, worsening performance. also, if you get a remote DO NOT get an anti-siphon! It makes the gun take in pure liquid, which isn't good!

I'd say not to get an x-chamber, save up $70 and get a Palmer Stabilizer regulator, it eradicates all liquid. And combined with an anti-siphon, it shoots as good as nitro.

CMI barrels used to be the best for the price. Then out came CP1 peice at a great price! Get your tanks anti siphoned. I would not suggest palmer cause it would be the same price as buying a better gun than a raptor!
