I just went paintballing my first time (I a heck of a time shooting people in the mask LOL) but I was thinking I might want a sniper barrel, one that is accurate and adds more distance to it, would an all American with a freak tip work good enough? and if so what size should I get?

There arent any barrels meant for sniping really.

Lengths of barrels dont make it any accurate then any other but I recomend a 12' or 14' custom products one-piece. Any thing over is really useless in my opinion unless you play xball and sup airball.

You only want to get a 12 - 14 inch barrel. That's all the length that matters. For the type of barrel, Smart Parts and Dye are the way to go. Here is a list of some good ones

- All American
- Dye Ultralight
- Freak
-Custom Products

Evan... last time I looked the didnt make 12 and 14 foot barrels :P

But yea.. different lengths won't do anything for your accuracy, so get a barrel based on comfort.

We know, it's just fun to give someone a hard time for using ' instead of ".

Dye Xcels are nice too cause any paint can fit them.

16 inches is the absolute longest I would go, unless I played air ball then it would be useful to push in the air bunkers. Otherwise the length just gets in the way. My friend got a 18 Boomstick for his Tippmann back in the day and when we played capture the flag on the big wooded course he was running and it snagged on the ground and he fell...funny, but that was the end of the 18 inch beast.

12-14 inches is ideal

CP 1 piece is a very nice barrel. I would also recomend the Teardrop or Lapco Bigshot.
