I'm just wondering b/c it seems like all of these Canadian people always have outragous prices! You should just import them from the United States. Oh, and why would the prices differ so much here as in Canade? Like a $35.00 barrel costing $100.00 over in Canada, why is that?

Ok, in all seriousness now, it's the same in the UK. It's because of shipping, insurance, and import fees mostly. Plus they charge you a little more extra just because they can since they know you can't do anything about it, supply and demand.
Or can you come down to the states, buy something like an Autococker, and bring it back w/out being arrested and fined?

They tax everything coming across the border really badly. I bought a 200 dollar marker and got taxed 70 dollars on it a few years back. It's outrageous
The currency has a different value. Its the same "costs" its just different money. It would take $10 of thier money to buy a Big Mac in Boston(just an example). I can see why you would be confued if you werent a world traveler(As I am ;) ). Our dollar just has more "buying power". Its really the same though. Its an exchange rate factor.

Think that has buying power, eh? Wait until you see the power of the Euro within the next year.

What heck is a 'Euro'? Great Britain Pounds are worth more than American dollars I think. So is Japanese currency. Is a Euro money that is like interchangable around Europe or something? Only thing I can think of, unless it's like a special note that is issued by European Banks. Anyway, a Euro then would be something that is used my numerous countries so of course it will be worth more!

More like $3.
Most things in Canada (pball related) are just more expensive, or about the same as the US.
Some products are ALOT cheaper in Canada. I forget what it was, but one item was selling at about $40 US, it only costed $50 Canadian. WIN. I believe AGD Part kits are around $15-20 US? Well they only costed me $20 (canadian). So it's all about what stuff you're buying.
WDP Angels cost $2000 (canadian )
Here's some Canadian stores, check out the prices

You've never heard of the Euro?!?! Its the biggest currency change in the world! (ever! :D)
Its the beginning of a global community!
As I wrote. About the Big Mac.
(just an example)
Anyways, you can see the difference if you look at any magazine sold in both the US and Canada. APG for example. $4.99 in the US, $5.99 Canada, $2.10 UK. Different money has different value. Its pretty straight forward. Turkey's money is counted in the hundred of thosands.

No it isnt just that. Alot of it is taxes and import fees. An Intimidator is 1500 in Canada, and 630 in the US. That's alot more than exchange rate can account for.
EM1 1100
BM2K 1000
Defiant 1300
With an exchange rate of .66 or whatever it is, that's still incredibly expensive compared to prices in the US. Would you guys pay almost 900 american for a defiant?
true..true.. good point. I was ruling out the taxes and import fees. I just wasnt ruling them in. You are correct theyre tariffs. I was under the impression those were reduced a great deal.

You honestly believe the Japanese Yen has more buying power than the dollar?
Sure, so doesn't a Paso and Ruble.
