There are no plans
But I WILL try to mod one to work on my Omen...but that's going to cost money for a airsmith to make a new sear and drill new holes for mounting.

I heard the omen trigger was realy good why would you want 2?

I ask the makers of the e-blade about releasing it for the omen and I got this response:
Hi Jason,
At this time, we have no plans to release an eBlade for the Omen.
Regards,
Planet.

What airsmith are you going to go with? I would suggest Dan Bonebrake Airsmithing. They do sweet work!

For joining this month, you seem to know a lot about me. :P
Who is this anyway?
I only suggest Bonebrake because he is the best airsmith that I've ever come in contact with, and I've checked out quite a few!
I have an E-mag... X-mag will come next year. :D
And the E-mag rocks! (both of them, heh)

I don't really consider Bonebrake much a custom work and request house, more of tuning and building existing markers. For something like that, I think www.fearfactorypb.com (Richard Sandbak) is the man for that job, he put Angel frames on Cockers years ago... An e-blade on an Omen should be easy as pie for him.
Seems like a lot of unnecessary money spent to me though.

Do you want it? It was supposed to get sold for $1350, but it's bean 2 weeks waiting for the Money order....any one want a Green X-mag with both Virt breach and Warp left, a TL-63 trigger(rare), green LED display, wall charger and all original stuff in the Box

what is required to be done by an airsmith to the eblade to get it installed on the omen?
Spartan 2

Drilling new Mounting holes in to the frame, possibly makeing a unidaptor, and a entirely new sear. May even what to replace to board with a morlock.

The estimated cost to put a e-blade on a Omen would be about $500

Spartan, if you could get it done, you should post some pictures. That would rock.

Can I ask why you'd want to Eblade an Omen? It's already electric, right?
Spartan 2
11-05-2003, 08:22 AM
The reason would be so I could have a magnetic blade trigger, modes of fire with the morlock, better looks, and braging rights to a upgrade that no one else has for the Omen....If I di it, it's a long ways off still.

arn't their trigger frames with the same specs as eblade that are cheaper and would work?
Spartan 2

I do not thinkl you get what the point was. The E-blad eis comfy and it's easy to rip on. Yes I could get a Race frame, but it's not the same FEEL and LOOK as the Blade. With the morlock they would TECHNICAKLLY be the same, even with the stock frame.

just the thing is the e-blade is $400 and you can get omens for $350.... it fells kind of weird buying a trigger frame that cost more than your gun..

On top of the fact that Omens are a different design that a standard Autococker and the money it would take to get one installed and working on an omen, you could have bought an E-bladed cocker....
Sounds like more trouble than it is worth to me, whose to say the cam feed will even keep up with an e-blade?... I have heard you can't use force feed hoppers (which are best for e-blades) on Omens as well...

Your right, but if you would have read the thread, I think I already explained this. I am going to try and get only the parts I need, so thats the Frame, trigger assembly, sear tripping noid, and mounting screws. I'll use a Morlock board for the electronics. That should cost me about $300. I'm guessing $100 for the Frame and trigger, and $50 more or so for the noid. The Morlock cost's about $130-$150. I can get it installed from a friend-airsmith for I'm going to guess, $100. So thats about right, a $400 upgrade.
The Omen will keep up just fine. The CAM really does not have a limit as long as the balls are there. Evil has stated that they have shot it at 24 bps, but they said they used a old-style egg 2...whicth I do not find believable. I do know that people are already doing over 20 bps with the new pdp chip, and my one friend at pbn (huge) has a morlock and has tested higher. My evo 2 with z-board can do about 22 bps, so thats fast enof for me. Besides the Omen will never chop, if I out shoot the loader, it will just miss fire.
