I noticed with a lot of guns, the paint feeder is directly in straight or within the sighting range.

My shutter has that small barrel sticking out which is hard to aim with stock. Do you guys have other ways of aiming or do you purchase another sight rail to get more accurate shots? I even thought about just re-welding the feeder portion because it is getting in the way...

PRactice in your back yard using the side of the gun and the tip of your barrel for the site. This is the most practical way of doing it, there are ways that you can get side mounting site rails but that isn;t really a good idea. If you play in a few games you'll get a feal for the aim, even from the hip. :eyes:

i just use where m barrel is pointed, my old gun was a shutter and i have found that i can point much better with my b2k so i shoot more accurately with it . . .

just take it out and shoot with it for a while......you will get the hang of it. its not like you can aim it like a real gun anyway. paintballs dont have a flat trajectory.

If your having trouble aiming try putting on a longer barrel like a 16"..then reduce it to a 12" when you get used to it..helsp a little, llonger barrels help some ppl aim better..just an idea

try to aim "down the barrel" i have a shutter and i am fine. practice a little. make sure u have a good barrel Lapco, Cp, or Dye are very good barrels. having a good paint to barrel match is also important. 12" or 14" is all you need the longer thre barrel dors not mean better accuracy in paintball. to long of a barrel will make your gun shoot slower.

well,
when i playu i aim by looking down the side of the barrel or i just shoot from the hip[ as most of the time i am actually jus running into there base :).

but sometimes this dosn;t work and i get pinned down but really you don;t need to aim by looking down the barrel all the time.

dont aim, just point your gun where you want it to go. if you look at where you want it to go your barrel should go there too. at least thats with me.

shoot with your middle finger, and lay your pointer finger down the side of the trigger frame.

Then just point at what you want to shoot at?

That's what I do

get some kinda sight, like a red dot sight or a scope; make that first shot count. I have a scope and i love it.

That's a good suggestion Bully. I do the same thing. That's what the .45 frame is designed for, so aiming is just how you would point.
