Barrel Length

Does the size of the barrel matter? Would I be able to see a difference between a 14" barrel and a 16" barrel?

Nope.
Extra length just gets in the way and causes more friction. Anything over 12" is insanely long to me.

i won't play with any barrel over 14 in. There's no point in having a 16 in. barrel, it'll only get in the way.

What little bit of research I've done on this:

The paintball accelerates down the the first six inches of the barrel, after that, it's traveling on momentum and the rest of the barrel helps stablize the ball on its trajectory ... Beyond 12 inches ... the barrel has not bearing on anything. I think some people get 16 to 20 inch barrels cause they're lacking in other places ... :eek:
