BPS and Team Tippmann Effect!

Hey hey. The noob is here.

Question: How much bps can you guys get withOUT an E-Bolt nor a Response Trigger (double triggers and flat triggers are fine)? I want to know this since my friend says shooting fast is a major difference (tippmanns can't do that well without an e-bolt or a response trigger). I can seem to probably shoot only 2-3 bps w/ stock everything including trigger :mad:

Also, Team Tippmann Effect, are they good? My friend says they are ok? And some of them don't use like the pro upgrades such as e-bolt and response trigger.

i can shoot between 6-9 bps (measured by a reliable chrono)
with a few of the trigger mods from the ultimate sticky.

I can pul 5 balls per second EASILY....i dont know what your talking about but 2 or 3 is not right! the tippman i belive can ge 11 to 13 balls per second

I have a Psycho Ballistics Double Trigger, I can pull about 8 or 9 bps with relative ease, and a shade more(probably around 11 or so) if I'm fanning.

I used a kind of off way to measure tho:
I got out a musical metronome and set it to 60 beats per minute and then proceeded through the basic subdivisions, quarters(1 per sec) eigths(2), sixteenths(4), I maxed out at about 32nds(eight) with occasional bursts a bit quicker.

Wow 7-12 bps. That's plenty because if I was thinking of getting that Promark Aluminum Flat Trigger to hopefully increase my bps to atleast like 6. I tried that pen spring technique, didn't work. I guess my pen spring was too strong, because every time I pulled the trigger, it pop off and just wouldn't work. The other techniques for actual less trigger pull seems to difficult to install.

So what is the bps w/ just a new double trigger and no "fixtures: lighter trigger and less trigger pulls", still 6-10 bps?

I tried a bunch of trigger mods and didn't like the feel of them, they made the pull too "soupy" for me. I like it kinda crisp, but my double trig with no mods is 8-11bps. You can probably fire faster than you think, get a watch and time out your pulls at one per second and then increase by one per second until you can't get anymore. Just pull for a few seconds at each interval to get a feel for how fast it is.

i know i'm not will pill but, i've only had my 98c for abt 7 months and i can pull 5 bps from not moving then after a second i go up to 8-9. with a lightened triger spring.




by the way i didn't cut the trigger spring for the mod i used the whole spring. i figure i get more weight but more tension also, thus a quicker return of the triger.

If you're fanning double digits, you need to learn to count.

I fanned 7bps and I wanted my finger back. I raked 0 balls per second. I walked 2 balls per second. I pulled 5.

Atleast I'm not lying to improve me online internet persona.

i am very slow on the single triger and i like the dbl feel.

those guys claiming 9. i think its without the seat cathing..

just the trigger and spring working.

but for me. with c02 and cocked and all.

i get like 3 bps using regular hand setup and indfex finger

pretty sad.. haha.

well i hope to work on it on "my" future viking.

This time I'm going to agree with Cuervo. Most of you have no idea what you are talking about. I doubt that you are shooting upwards of 8 BPS. BPS is a hard thing to estimate without a chronograph or using the audio spike way.

My trigger pull is one of the lightest that I have ever felt and I doubt that I can get over 8 on my Tippmann. I may be wrong, however.

And he is talking a stock gun with ONLY a double trigger. No trigger mods. Nothing. I would say doing more than 5-7 with that setup, I doubt it'd happen.

dont worry bout rate of fire. If you jsut get a decent barrel and work on your aim you dont ever really need more than five, less youre surrounded and dead anyway. Only full auto can help then and no tournys let you use full auto or response. Seriously, you can keep someone pinned and rush with absolutely no upgrades to a 98c, and i know from three years of speedball experience with just a 98c, armson stealth barrel and psycho ballistics drop forward.
