well I took my cocker out for the first time yesterday and began to take the field with my team.... WHAT A NIGHTMARE..... I began by being pinned immediately behind a downed log and got off about five shots and the gun jammed uit chooped a ball and got the shell badly stuck under the bolt I couldn't budge the bolt it was jammed so bad I was forcing it with one finger down the breach one pulling from behind... I continued to work trying to free my bolt while taking fire and finally got it free so I cleaned it out best I could with one of my teammates who rushed down to give me cover fire thanks zombie! Saved my arse... any how I continued to have problems from my gun dry firing chopping balls and jamming paint in between the bolt thank god none as severe. in the final match I was an a trench and my opponent was down a hill some ways behind a tree firing at me and I figured do or die and fired a couple clearing rounds to get him behind the tree and made the mad dash down the hill toward his tree at about 25 feet he stepped out to find me coming toward him and I was still popping off round and the whole run down the hill my gun was just chopping paint horribly I was shooting gobs of paint and by the time I got to himm it began dry firing because of the amount of paint that had been pushed into the elbow I got so mad I threw my cocker in a fit of rage..... thankfully in my ignorance I only broke a hopper elbow and put a ding in my bolt... got home and began finding out what the problem was and it turned out the after market bolt I got for my cocker (A TASO LIGHTNING BOLT) was the cause of part of my problem it had a major gap between the body of the gun and the bolt face further more I found the jam nut on the back of my cocker was in too far not allowing the bolt to fully clear my breach. Also the back block was incorrectly positioned as when it was gassed up the ram was still pulling back on the back block and not getting any relief from the body... I correcte3d these problems and went out again today to play a small game 2 on 4 and me and zombie kicked arse but more importantly I regained confidence in my cocker and was actually pleased with it's performance to boot I had almost considergetting rid of it for a mag but thank god with ravi's help I got my gun back in the game.... A I would also like to say thanks to Zombie for his his little almost vigil stance over me for the support. Moral of this story DON't BUY TASO AND DON'T EVER UNDERESTIMATE A FRIENDS SUPPORT ON AND OFF THE FIELD!

hmmmmmm occasionally try 90 percent of the time... out of appx 600 paintballs maybe 120 actually made it out the barrel

No short stroking is when You dont pull the trigger fully back and release it fully, this causes either a ball chop or a ball pinch, pinch=bad but not as bad, chop=bad, if only that many made it out of barrel that means the paint was too large for the barrel

and you wish you knew what you were talking about.. the paint to barrel match was fine I used the same type of paint th next day without problems... the gun wasn't timed correctly and it chopped so many balls it would make a grown man cry.... any how I'm out I gots ta get on the road ttyl
