yeah, you have to buy a bottomline of some kind and an asa.
also a new barrel is usually suggested as one of the first upgrades. as well is a 45 grip frame. a 12v revolution is helpful. oh you are gonna need an elbow too.

so bassically all i need is like a steel braided hose, and asa ( not sure sure what that is:confused: ??

If your getting the vert feed cocker (which i hope you are getting) you wont need an elbow. And they come with .45 frames.

The stock cocker does not have a .45 frame, you would have to get a vert feed for that. You should still get a metal frame either single or double or hinge, whatever suits you. Barrel, my suggestion is a Freak system, it's worth it. As for the ASA there are many to choose from and the line you could use either a steel braid or a macroline.
Try this link for your ASA: http://store.yahoo.com/actionvillage/cusprodasaad.html

so what are you going to plug the other end of that steel hose into? one end into the Reg...the other into the..
ASA
now you know what an ASA is/does?
course, you got a cradle for Nitro, you plug into the niro, but that's not the point..

on your extra, what you screw your air into, that's an ASA.
if memory serves, the xtra has two, one at the base of the grip frame, and a second under where the barrel screws in.
/me is a Compact - P owner right now..

are you going to get a vertical or right feed? The verticals are now 340 at CO Paintball. They also come with 45 frames and grips.

they gotta drop the prices on the regular 2k1's now. how will they ever sell if the vert are only 10$ more and come w/a 45$ frame and better body.

they will drop the prices aorund xmas time right?? plus 2002 models will come out then.. right?

they might drop the prices, but usually a good price on the vert feeds is around $430. they used to be around that much until the prices REALLY dropped.
so, i think the 2k2 cockers prolly will be in stock by November, prolly earlier.

You WILL NEED gas fittings and an ASA. If you don't, how is your air system going to be used?

personally, I'd recommend a MacroLine hose over a Steel Hose
(plastic hose that's a little easier to maintain IMHO)
And simpply get a Bottomline adapter with standard holes and then a Macro or steel hose kit then all you gotta do is intalls it, and we can help ya out there too...or take it to your local field and talk to them.
Also, as a side note, you know you're going to have to learn a lot about the cocker, timing, and whatever, right? I'm going to buy one and I'm learning all I Can..

Ok listen what you need to do is call them up and say i want a 2001 autococker with a steel braided bottom line and the asa installed.I got mine from www.paintballgear.com and they did it for free and i didnt even ask.Go there.Ow and dude you can use the gun right out of the box even if it is the standard grip.Just get like a barrel and a 12 volt loader and you are ready(Dont buy a standard loader it wont work). It will work fine.
Just be ready to learn how to fix it when it breaks down.
