to a n00b gettin ready play 4 1st time

my first paintball experience was horrible. It wasn too long ago with a borrowed black maxx playin outlaw with a rich kid and his friends. He is on a tourny team he had his buddie all with decked out e-orracles and i had i other casual player on my team.
The field was a mounds course made with a bobcat and it has a few wood bunkers. on this first game i hung back cuz i had no idea what to do, then i popped up and thay rained paint on my bunker, so i ducked. in about 5 sec thay all bunkered me and i was hit around 15 times in the mask head and neck.
It hurt and they said "thats paintball suck it up!" so i did.
we ended up playin about 10 more games. Whenever i was hit i called myself out like i should and was shot at when i was walkin off no matter how high i raisied the gun or how loud I yelled out.
Near the end i charged up an took a few shots at one of them and gogged him! he shot me and said he wasnt out cus it was "splatter." Bull She-it. paint shell and a perfect splatter right on his goggles. Next game i get him again, in the leg and he wipes his friends thought it was hilarious.
I still liked the game, and began playing at a local field, eventually organizing a decent 3 man team. we encounters the the guys who had done that stuff to me in a tourney.0
we destoyed them, and just to make victory better, one guy was caught wiping and they alll chronoed @ over 330 fps!
They had it coming! to all u newbs out there stick with it youll meet a-holes, but you'll meet many more awsome people. and startin out go to a good feild with good refs or play with somebody you know well and trust.

Some people at outlaws can be pretty cruel and crappy. It sometimes happens at my field, the whole saying you're out and waving your gun, but people are still shooting at you. I played my first time at a regular field, so I didn't run into those kind of problems, but props to you for sticking with paintball even though you met the people who make paintball seem crappy.

The first real time I played was at my friends wooded farm and we just played unlimited hits and play until the time runs out. We won't do that again...

my brothers and i usually play until we run out of paint as well. or until one of us gets hit in the groin :(

anyways, I hate guys like that, who shoot you when youre walking off the field. they think they're pretty hilarious...hardy-har.

How is it supposed to be a paintball game if there is no way to go out? I remember when I was a newbie just with my bros. There was no bunker rule, gun hits counted, one hit you were out, and that's that.

the only reason why people get shot while there walking off the field is because they dont make it obvious there shot. ive shot at people walking off the field before because they didnt hold their gun up in the air and it looked like they were changing bunkers. if you make it obvious your getting off the field, then the guy that shoots you is an *******.

My great n00b ************ shooting story:

Its basically "outlaw" ball where I live, and there's one punk who thinks he's a god because he has a VL Genesis and Diablo Dusk Paintballs. He turns his velocity all the way up (have no idea the exact fps as we have no chrono, but I'm working on getting us one) and feels the need to wait until you start walking off the field with your marker de-gassed and plugged with you arms up to shoot you. For example, I was hiding behind a tree one game, and saw him about 60 ft away, so I lit him up, seeing the pink Zaps I was using bust on him. He doesn't call out and shoots at me. No big deal, I just pop behind the tree and hear dusk bouncing off the tree. I pop out to suppress him so I can move, and he just stands up covered in pink and points to the marks. I stop firing and start to move to new cover, when he shoots at me hitting me about 6 times. I just shake the bounces off and start to walk straight at him with my marker pointed at his head, painting his mask pink. He shoots my mask, cracking it, so I yell out, and sit down right there in a bush to clean off the paint. He walks over and then shoots me in the top of the head! Most n00b thing I've ever seen...

Its not a real requlated field though. Its basically a grassy clearing thats good for playing paintball in. And I checked for a chrono, but no one seems to be interested in their lives, and the cheapest I've found is $70.00, which is a lot for one person to pay for somethig everyone else is going to use.
