View Full Version : xtra's performance
I just got an xtra. It is awesome but i got a few questions. The range doesnt seem to be that good, I am having to aim about 4 to 5 feet higher to accomdate for drop of the paintballs. This was aiming at a target around 60 feet or maybe farther away. Everything on the gun is stock. I know a new barrel will help this but what else can i do, if i make the gun low pressure will this help?? Also what kind of oil should i use to lube my gun, does it need to be paintball gun specific or can i just use 3 in 1 or wd 40. thanks

Chrono your gun... it should be shooting at around 280fps, if not turn up your velocity, or put in a stiffer spring. Should be pretty accurate at 60 feet.
Given the force of gravity, you have to aim above your target when shooting a great distance (+100 feet).
Get some paintball gun oil or else you can screw up your O-rings.
3 in 1 also works just as well but paintball oil is abou $3, not to much. making your gun LP is up to u. i Don't but if you do you need a aka lightning bolt and aka valve for best results. ALSO you have to have a regulator.
