hey guys
I had a chance to hit the field at Area 51 saturday night to try out my newly purchased STS G1.
The only problem i had was the ball stopper, but the guy gave me one for nothing, so i was hella happy.

The first test i did was to see what my gun was shooting at on the lowest setting. I was in the range of 265-275, so i had to cut the spring. I was shooting around 240 and that was good enough.

Then i went on to the accuracy test. There's a spike ball hanging from the ceiling in the middle of one of the fields, and i used that as my target. It took me a while to adjust to how the gun shoots, and well, to my surprise it was pretty damn accurate, as well as consistant.

The gun also doesn't use as much co2 as i thought it would. My 20oz tank is still probably 3/4 full and i went through about 500-600 balls (it was a slow night).

I did not chop a single ball!!!!
I had no problems throughout the night. This is a great gun for the money.

Now here's where i would like some opinions if you guys don't mind :)

1. Is it worth it to get the Stainless Finish Upgrade package? (PN #59005 on the PMI site)
2. I also wanted a new trigger assembly, since ihave the composite single trigger assembly. Should i get the composite or the metal double-trigger assembly? Or is that just a matter of preference?

Thanks for the help guys, sorry for the long post

1. It wont improve performance, just looks
2. Its a matter a preference to me, If you think that the composite frame will crack or break (which hasnt happened to me) then get the aluminum frame.

yeah, i know the stainless finish is just for looks, the all black look is kinda plain.

i've been thinking of getting the aluminum trigger frame, just wanted to see what everyone else thought.

But before i do that i'm gonna go for a barrel, now i'm just gonna hafta do some research

thanks man,

I think the aluminum frame will have a better trigger pull stock, then the composite frame.

I love my aluminum frame. They can be tweaked more during trigger jobs and such to make a nicer pull.
