Ok guys,

My friend gave me his piranha pro to look at. It wasn't staying cocked. I looked at the problem and figured out his sear is chipped. Now i am not used to dealing with this type of trigger frame. First question is how do i get the sear out? I have the gun completely apart according to instructions. But can't get the pin holding the sear in out. Second as i was taking off the bottom line...i already had the trigger frame off....three small metal pins came falling out of the grip frame. Does anybody have a clue to what these are and where they go? They are about 1/8 of an inch to a 1/4 of an inch long. Solid steel. If i could find out what these are that would be a big help. Thanks for everything.

The sear usually has to be rounded off good before it will not catch, check out the hammer too and make sure it looks OK. I've seen some soft hammers from PMI. Also take a peek at your hammer o-ring.

The sear pin has to be punched out, to remove the sear, one end will have teeth on it make sure this end comes out first. Just knock it out a little bit and if you don't see the teeth then go from the other side.
The little pins are used to hold the frame in place on the body, while installing the screws, as well as offer more support you will see where they go if you look at the top of the grip. I found the screws to be more then enough and tossed mine in the junk drawer, i'd only lose them anyway:)

Chris covered it but there should be 4 little metal pieces that came out of the grip frame.

These go in the four little slots on the top of the grip, you'll see it when you look, its kinda hard to explain.
