i have the 32 degrees dovetail flame drop. I just purchased the SP dovetail on/off with the 1/4 turn screw. I wanted to know if I put it on right. All i did was slide it on at first it was hard but then it got real easy and it came with no screws so i couldnt tighten it. Now it just slides back and forth and i have to push it either back or forward so it doesn't fall of. What do i do??

There should be set screws in your 32* drop if not just get some from your local PB store or even Home Depot.
The SP on/off would not have the screws.
Hope this helps .

There should be a hole in the top of the drop about the middle of where the on/off would be adn it screws down to push against the on/off

Is the SP dovetail that separate on/off piece you screw into your ASA and then you screw your tank into the on/off?
1speed,
No, the part you describe is the universal on/of that SP produces with male ASA threads on one side and female ASA threads on the other side.
The part in question has female threads for the ASA screw in of a tank, a 1/8" NPT outlet for macroline/SS line, and an "apocolypse" style rail mount.

The Dove Tail works like a wedged with the dove tail on the drop. When you tighten the screws on the drop it pushes the "V" together and makes it tight.

So it is basically a bottomline with an on/off and has a slide rail?
