Opinions on guns to get

Ok. I am trying to decide on my first paintball gun to get. Tell me what you think would be best...

Tippmann 98 Custom
Dragunfire Bottomline LED
Spyder Imagine
Piranha STS 2K3 VF

I am sorta leaning towards the Dragunfire myself...

Any of those except the dragun in my opinion.
I used to have a black dragun lcd and was not impressed. The quality was just extremely poor. There were burs and jagged edges around the feed, the frame felt cheap, it was fast but the amount of blowback just made it a blender if i shot anything over 6 bps, the manual had typos and looked like it was written by a 6 year old with no fingers, etc. My spyder compact was more reliable than that thing, and shot the same, if not better.
This wasn't with the 2003 model, but i still don't trust m3(or whatever they changed the company name to now) after such a poor quality gun. I'd go for the sure thing and get one of the spyders/tippmans/pirhanas.

yeah i would suggest a piranah or spyder. Tippman/spyder/piranah will all function nearly the same. you wont notice any =erformance difference. I dont reccomend the tippman because i hate how far the grips are away. I think it is easier for somone who has been shooting real rifles to use a tippman, because of the shape of the body. I love how spyder/ piranha feel, but its all up to you and what you think is comfortable. If you arent comfortable holding your gun, you wont be able to play to your maximum

tippmann = super reliable, built like tanks, take any abuse your can throw/ hit at it, quite a few upgrades but there expensive
spyders= pretty much like tippmanns but can't as much of a beating, great noob gun, tons of upgrades, that are reasonably priced, easily maintainable.
piranhas= pretty much the spyders little brother, not as many upgrades, pretty durable, alright reputation, gun will last awhile.

i own a tippmann and love it so im going to say tippmann

:nod: yup i love those and spyders and tippy's but as pmi was the first gun i owned,and although i had a lemon it was a great gun when it worked.

piranah can take any upgrade a spyder can exept some internals. They are pretty much the same gun.

speedball, get a spyder/piranah

thats only thing im gonna add, everyone else was right

i would say 98 c because it is cheap so you can spend you money on upgrades
