It's happened again.

I arrived at school today, Monday September 29th, and was shocked to find that someone had used their marker to "mark" our school. Yesterday was Sunday and I went paintballing to releave some stress, and had a good time doing it. Although I'd been lit up practically, I had a lot of fun.
So I did not expect to find a bunch of balls broken all over the wall outside on Northview High School located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There are places to ball all around here and this is what happened? I hate people that do this. Not only do they make paintball look bad, they also make people think that it's a bad sport. Vandals do it to look cool, but they're doing more then making themselves look cool. They look dumb and they're hurting the sport. Stop doing it!

i dont think theres anything we can do about them and theyre stupidity. its something well have to live with, or untill the government steps in. lets hope that doesnt happen.

Caleb is right. Talk to your principal or someone of that nature and tell them that paintball isn't about being a vandal. It is about teamwork and fun. Then offer to help cleanup the paint. This will help our rep. a little bit.


One of the things we do here, is our local store(and team I play on) has two fields. We offer to do birthday parties for cheap(150 buck, gets you 10 rentals, the field, and 4000 paintballs) and we teach safety and how to play paintball. Of course we talk about vandalism. We now have alot of these kids coming back to the store and buying their own equipment. It has been quite a long time now since we have seen vandalism here in Helena. Even the HS kids have seemed to grow up and not vandalize.

if you look at the bright side, vandalism isn't as bad in paintball as it is in soccer and other sports. yet, somehow it gets more heat :rolleyes:

like baseball bats. you can smash someones legs in, break a window, smash someones skull in, and many other things, but when it comes to a paintball gun you shoot something make a little mess and people cry about the gun, not the bat. im not saying its good to vandalize with the gun but the bat can lay some hurt compared to the gun.:|

vandalism via paintballs is dumb, stupid, retarded, etc. but it's just another way to vandalize. like spray cans & um, urine. they haven't banned the use of spray cans so i'm sure they aren't going to ban the use of paintball markers. although some towns card kids who purchase spray cans now, which they already do for paintball guns.

there will always be people who use an item for purposes that were not intended. it's the way of things. people should understand that and not blame the sport itself.

i hope police start taking serious action against vandals like this. maybe we can melt their BE marauders around their faces and then tie them up and slowly lower them into a pit of acid. then just before they touch the acid, we throw some rocks at them and then torture them until they say sorry for hurting the sport. then we put them in the acid. muahaha :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: damn vandal-noobs

Hello Folks,
In the past few days I have gotten a lot of responces to the post (not that it's a bad thing) I've just decided to respond with a update.
It was cleaned up (the paintballs) and nothing was mentioned about it.
Strange Thing: My friends girlfriend had a bag of paint (PMI Green and Blue shell w/yellow fill) in her backpack that she gave back to him on that same day we got back to school on. (Monday) It was the same type of paint which was splattered all over the back of the school! What do you all think?

Meh.. paintballs are like soap, they wash away when it rains and the shells dissolve. In no way am I encouraging paintballing up your school, but compared to people who tag the walls or those student government kids who can't stay in the lines when they paint on their butcher paper banners and end up painting all over the walkways...(long breath here) or even just finding those little stupid non-biodegradable plastic airsoft bb's around... paintball doesn't seem all that bad in contrast. Just saying there are worse things to be horrified about happening to your school. :)
