Piranha Upgrades!

I have a STS VF G3. It has no upgrades except all the stuff that came on it. What upgrades are needed first? Also what masks, gloves, and paintballs are good. Are Stcik grips worth it. Everything, just discuss whats good and whats not.:blah:

well if you wanna get ready for a tourny the you may want to upgrade. you don't have to go out and get a Cocker to play tourney (although i would reccommned it just cause the cocker is a great marker)

here are some upgradesyou may want to look into

(1) A HPA tank... you do not need to buy abig carbon fiber one if you don't have the funds, go out and buy an $80 metal air tank and you shoul get about 3 hoppers out of it and I think thats greta i even have one for my cocker

(2) A new barrel... I would reccommend a lapco bigshot or a dye xcel or dye stainless these barrels cost about $50-$60 for the bigshot or xcel and about $80 for the stainless

(3) a good regulator... i beleive your piranha has one if so good if not get one

(4) If you have the money get a new bolt but this is only if you have money to spend

yea if your about to go into a tourney upgrade for performance and try and make it more compact (drop forward, ect.), but in my opinion if your just gunna keep playing rec or whatever you play, upgrade to make your marker more comfortable, I personally like the stickies but if your grips are fine for you then its your decision, definately go for a new barrel whether your going into a tourney or not, and also check out piranhapros thread

Gloves- get some, it hurts like crap getting hit in the hand, go with some cheaper ones, you could spend $30 on a pair but it's not nessesary,
Mask- theres a lot of different masks out there but I personally like the JT Spectra's one of my friends has the Scott hotshot, for being cheaper than the spectra its pretty cool
