Spectra lenses.

If you want something flashy you should try a Prism lens. They come in orange, blue, or chrome. Chrome i have seen scratch easily, i really like the looks of the blue (i have one) and the orange is cool too but i dont think it looks as good as the blue.

Anyway, its very EASY to get used to a prism lens. You can use it for almost every condition. they are really cool and i think they are best for speedball. i wouldn't recommend them for low light cause they do tint a little and take away some light. (although some ppl like yellow [brightness..bs] lenses or red [infrared..bs] for lowlight..i think the best lens for lowlight is clear, you need all the light you can get..and the clear wont absorb any color or light...anyway, just my views. But if you play in the morning a lot a yellow lens could help your vision, and if you play in the woods a lot a amber lens would help your vision (can see outlines well.. camo doen'st help at all if you have amber lens) or clear if you play in dark areas (caves, etc) or tinted if you play in bright light situations, or prism if you play a lot of speedball during the day (not night) and want flashy looks.

personal preference tho :) but the xfires take spectra lenses (same as flex7 and spectra goggles)

I jusy got my goggles in the mail today (came in a package deal). I upgraded to get the Xfire tactical w/thermal lense, but am not sure if I did. How can you tell that the lense is thermal? There's a plastic film inside that says "anti fog lense." I thought that was different than thermal. Any thoughts?

If it is thermal it will have two lenses w/ a film in between. (Make sure you dont get water in there..it will ruin the lens)

Anti-Fog lenses are pretty much the same as thermal lenses, except i think some companies (im pretty sure JT Spectra lenses) put an anti-fog spray on the antifog lenses.

I think JT might only do this on the clear spectras..cause on my clear lens it had a sticker that said ' Anti-Fog' and on my others it just said thermal

Thanks AllOleander. My goggles have two lenses. So does that mean they are the thermal? Or do the regular Anti Fog ones have two lenses also?

Antifog lenses also have the 2 lenses w/ the film inbettween. I think they just have a antifog spray on them. Not really a difference.. but i think they put the antifog spray on the clear lenses because those tend to fog easier then colored/tinted lenses

either way, they shouldn't fog :)

(there should also be an ' Anti-Fog ' sticker on your lens if it is antifog)

AllOleander, sorry to say but you are wrong. The X-fires take the Elite lenses (deadboltz,OTG...) The Spectra lenses don't fit it. Just thought I would clear things up.
