Hey, I'm new to paintball and I just bought a Kingman Sypder XTRA. Is this gun good? The store manager said it's the best Kingman marker. And, if a gun is blow back, do you have to cock it after every shot?
Thanks

Nope, just cock the bolt back until it locks in place, then screw in the Co2 bottle, have your hopper full of paintballs, and take off the safety. If will continueously fire until out of Co2. Thas a semi automatic gun for ya. Ya, it s good little gun, you shouldn't have any problems with it, and if ya do, just stop in here and we'll help ya.

No you dont have to cock it after every shot thats a pump marker. Also ,yes the Xtra is a great starter marker and you can upgrade it realy easily.Your first three upgrades should be: (in this order)1.New barrel.Spyders are good but therye stock barrels are known to be god awful.I reccomend the Custom products 1 piece 2.Motorized hopper.WIth a cheap but quality hopper like an empire reloader you wont chop. 3.A reg this regulates the air coming into the marker making your marker more consitant(more accurate too youll get tighter groupings)again a good cheap one is the Bob long torpedo. Have a nice day:)

A little tip for next time...Research first, buy later. There are a whole lot of crooked dealers out there if there is a buck in it for them.

I did research on the Aggressor XT. But he told me to get the XTra instead. Plus I used this site to help choose the gun for me! ;)

Ok first of all, that is a pretty good starting out gun. But second of all, you already bought it, and your asking if its good...So would if it is bad? It would be too late. Ask first, then buy.

I did research as well on "entry level" markers and found the xtra at the top of my list. I have found it to be an exclent gun for the casual player. There are always of course better guns out there but in the price v performance battle in the $100 range the xtra is the best gun out there.
Plus starting out with this marker will allow you to learn what you want while still being compeditive.

Great gun. No you dont need to cock it everytime. Cock it once and your ready to go.
do this:
1. put on a hopper
2. Screw in a Co2 tank
3. put paintballs into your hopper(dont fill it up all the way)
4. Cock the gun
simple steps and your ready to go.
*i think i left out something plz tell me if i did*
