Does anyone know where you can find bunker ideas for fields?

Your avatar is so cute, Monkey of Fear.
And as for bunker ideas... What Magnus55 said.
If it's making bunkers, barrel cans, carpets, and wooden boards work (if you're making an outlaw field, if you want a more "professionally" done field, I think you have to buy the bunkers.)
If it's for setup, I think there was a thread in here before with field setup ideas, you can search for it and Magnus had a good setup, you can steal that. Or just ask the people here what a field setup should or what they want it to look like, they have pretty good ideas, too.

Field set ups, just work with what you got. Symmetrical fields are usually fair, but you can get creative.
As for finding bunkers, (woods or speedball) pallet companies are your friends. :)

I think I read somewhere on these boards that if you call the places where old tires go to die (I'm not sure what they are called), you can pick up as many as you want for free. That would be a good place to start.

Me and my bro have a home made rec-ball course and the best thing we've found to do for bunkers are use posts and tin.If you want to save on posts, you can just find a nearby tree to act as a post.Anyways, just nail as much tin as you want. What we do is we have 2 pieces of tin (which seems to be the appropriate number) and make a kill hole in the middle. Now,if you dont have tin or posts, you can get tires, wood, barrels, whatever the hell you want or can use. We've used a couch before, but unfortunately for the guy behind it at the time,he didn't know that my paint could fly through the back of the couch.

pallets work good for woodsball and speedball...also barrels and tires would work good for speedball.........but if you had extra money it would be really kool to make a speedball field out of plexi glass(it would make it hard to because ppl could c through the glass

well for the field me and a friend of mine made we asked a local pipe maker if they would be willing to give us defective pipe. And this pipe is about a foot in diameter and it basically hyperball tubing. They gave us 120ft of it and we then cut it and put it all together, we havent gotten to really play on it yet, but its pretty nice.
But if you cant get piping like that, another thing that would work well are big plastic barrels. Like 55 gallon drums but make of plastice, they are quite nice.
Good Luck

lots of good ideas already...
rolling ditches can be nice, steep ones probably offer better cover yet are far more likely to cause an injury. Boards, tires, etc. Almost any object that creates some cover area and is not really dangerous to have on a field (what would that be?) will probably work. I would try to use the existing cover as much a possible in order to avoid disturbing the evironment too much (yes, I am one of those people) and if possible avoid nailing into trees, they are our friends. Enjoy.

i dont know about wher you live but during spring/fall cleaning, everybody puts all the crap they dont want out on the street. You can find some nice bunker material there. My neighbor was throwing out 12 doors. We could have made an awesome feild out of it, but both my freinds who i told (they were the only ones with enough land for a field) didnt take it. Its sad really:(

for setup, you can just use trial and error. Get a basic idea of what youre going to do, then play on the feild and make adjustments if you need too.

ive been makeing a field for a few years....heres what i found
electrical spools: a lot of electrical contractors have quite a few of these lying around, great stuff
55 gallon PLASTIC drums: it has to be plastic, to avoid injury. look at places that sell atvs/snowmobiles etc...they have alot full of antifreeze. if you let them know, im sure they will give you the empty ones, i have plenty.
hyperball tubeing: get these at construction sites (ASK) or water treatment plants, you know places like that.
kind of a hasle to deal with, but fun to play on.
random particle board: anywhere really, construction sites, nieghbors etc.
just try all of the ones above and move it around on the field to the players prefferences.
