1. What're the differences between the generation of Bushmasters?
2. On the cheaper Bushmasters without the LCD (Probably LED versions, yes, no?), can you change the firing mode?
3. Where can you get 6th or 7th generation Bushmasters, or can you?
4. Anyway you can get a Bushmaster with 'Cocker threads? Not really interested in buying a Defiant just for barrel threads... ;)
5. Do they come with low or high rises?
6. Is the feed tube easily removable, or is it of difficulty to remove it?
7. Is the ROF, or trigger pull, different when the gas source is low? I dry fired a Bushmaster, and a Defiant a while back with little air, didn't respond very well to my finger... Recently I played with a Bushmaster will a full tank of air, and it seemed to respond everytime the trigger was pulled.
8. What kind of parts would you replace when you get a stock Bushmaster, or such? Somebody I talk to said that the stock HPR, or LPR (Can't remember...) on his Defiant was pretty bad, and got messed up and all...
9. Where can you get a cheap Bushmaster at a reliable place? They're like $450 at PBG, but I've heard a number of complaints with them...

Answering my questions on Bushmasters would be greatly appreciated! :D Just want to thank those who will reply in advance for taking their time to help me... :)

1. What're the differences between the generation of Bushmasters?
•the term generation is strictly a user classification (not used by icd) but a bushy is considered a new generation when a significant change is made, normally milling and slight changes in performance such as springs and such

2. On the cheaper Bushmasters without the LCD (Probably LED versions, yes, no?), can you change the firing mode?
•sure can, there's semi, 3 shot, 6 shot and full auto (20shot) you can change how long the solenoid stays on and off aswell adjusting the air flow and ROF

3. Where can you get 6th or 7th generation Bushmasters, or can you?
•well if you're talking about the 2000-2's they should be in stores soon.

4. Anyway you can get a Bushmaster with 'Cocker threads? Not really interested in buying a Defiant just for barrel threads... ;)
•i'm pretty sure you can, but it will cost more no doubt.

5. Do they come with low or high rises?
•high

6. Is the feed tube easily removable, or is it of difficulty to remove it?
•never tried it but i hear if you heat it w/ a hair dryer for a bit (loosen loctite) you can just twist it off w/ some plyers.

• yeah it's different when there is full gas, i think it fells a lot better and it's much more responsive than if you have less than cocking pressure (around 230 stock)

8. What kind of parts would you replace when you get a stock Bushmaster, or such? Somebody I talk to said that the stock HPR, or LPR (Can't remember...) on his Defiant was pretty bad, and got messed up and all...
• that problem was probly with an older model, since, ICD has replaced the springs in the HR so they can handle pre-set tanks (i'm assuming that was the problem) i'd slap on some sticky grips (i did) and a new barrel, that's all you really NEED. but if you get carried away you can upgrade every piece of it so there's not an ICD part left on the gun.

9. Where can you get a cheap Bushmaster at a reliable place? They're like $450 at PBG, but I've heard a number of complaints with them...
•i got mine from my store, the guy just because ICD certified, you can ussually bargain with the guys at the store better than people over the internet. however, i don't see how certain stores would sell more messed up bushies than anywhere else

hope that helps :D

1. What're the differences between the generation of Bushmasters?

Not much, just get a more recent one, You can tell the more recent ones by looking at the stock reg, old ones have like 6 rigdes, the new ones have 5.

2. On the cheaper Bushmasters without the LCD (Probably LED versions, yes, no?), can you change the firing mode?

Yes, you can change firing modes on the LED, the new boards have semi, 2 shot, 3 shot, 6 shot, turbo, ramp, Full auto, auto responce.

3. Where can you get 6th or 7th generation Bushmasters, or can you?

ICD told me that the new bushies would be out by now, but i dunno, shiot happens,

4. Anyway you can get a Bushmaster with 'Cocker threads? Not really interested in buying a Defiant just for barrel threads... ;)

Umm, rethreading costs like 50 or so

5. Do they come with low or high rises?

Kinda high rises, but nothing like an emags or a darkangels.

6. Is the feed tube easily removable, or is it of difficulty to remove it?

What Simon said.

The trigger is so adjustable it's not funny, so depending on the springs you use, and the lengths you use, it will be differant.

8. What kind of parts would you replace when you get a stock Bushmaster, or such? Somebody I talk to said that the stock HPR, or LPR (Can't remember...) on his Defiant was pretty bad, and got messed up and all...

All i would really get is a Glad reg and a new valve, the stock bolt it fine, BTW get a spare (cocker) balldetent, mine pooped out on me, so i ordered a sonic, should be here next week maybe

9. Where can you get a cheap Bushmaster at a reliable place? They're like $450 at PBG, but I've heard a number of complaints with them...

Honestly, if you can get to a major tourney like NPPL or somthing, thats your best bet, i got mine at the IAO, for 500. Good luck.
