I've had mine since last February and it's been fine for me. The only thing that i've needed fixed is a new connector pin for holding the elbow in place because one came loose and fell out, but for that all i needed was to call Tippmann Pneumatics and they sent me 5 more.

Had my tippmann for 6 months. Fell once and hit it on the ground playing speedball. Righteously f***ed it up. Tossed it in my closet and bought an impulse. My story of my tippmann.

I've had my 98c w/ flatline for about a year and a half. The worst thing that I had happen is the valve bit the dust. It was able to be replaced at home but, let me tell you really fine silt does not do good things for it. Other than that 15min fix it really does great.:D

I've had mine for 10months and no problems. I've shot maybe 20,000 pbs through it and no problems. No chopping, not a single ball break, nothing.

Had mine for almost two years now, I guess 10k rounds or so, had one serious problem, popped an o-ring in the vavle, sent to Tippmann, they fixed it and sent it back within the week. Two other minor probs, one with a hinge pin falling out of the elbow(new elbow for free), one with the pin that holds the sear breaking(two new pins free). It graciously waited to do all of these things off of the field. All in all I have been very impressed.

3 years as of this last August, the only problem I've really had is me stripping the threads on the valve so I had to get a new one.

My classic 98 is around 5 years old. I bought a Maddmann Spring Kit for it to fix velocity problems, but it turned out that was caused by a leaking tank. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with it. I just bought a 98C because I want an R/T for Christmas and the Classic was pretty beat up.

ive had mine for 3 years. any problem on it such as cracked power tube (dont ask), backwards detent, no valve screws, or setting the lpr to low were all caused by my error. ive put nearly 9 cases of paint through it. and ive used co2 and nitrogen. i have never replaced one oring the actual tippmann to this date.

I had mine for 4 months of actual play, maybe 7 games total, 2 boxes of paint.

I had a few minor problems, nothing that annoyed me. I really upgraded my gun cosmeticly and ended up selling it for an A-5.

If I had just bought a new barrel for it and nothing else, I probably wouldn't have sold it. A new marker looked tempting though, as my 98c was a pain to clean (I heard A-5 is more modular. 98c wasn't too bad to clean, just clean on the field. You could dunk it in water though, that rules)

The only problems ive had my my tippmanns is theyre working too good!

Nah, i need a new detent for my Pro-lite, ive chopped 2 balls in it (Out of 2000)

Thats it. My Pro-Lite is VERY old, its an early model for it, and my Model 98 is old too, but they both work great. :D

never had a problem that prevented me from playing a game with it..although the velocity is starting to drop, as the mainspring is wearing out.

2+years almost three worst problem was lost that damn little spring for hopper release and stripped out valve screw but except for $#!! i messed with nothing an di've dropped it from thirty feet onto rocks slammed it on rocks played in sand, rain, SNOW, and taken it under water on numerous occasions. most parts are one almost 3 years use and close to 20k rounds through it easily.
