My STS G2

At the begining of summer I got a STS G2 from my friend for FREE!!! Well I didn't use it much but it was still cool. Now I'm starting to shoot it and sometimes when I pull the trigger it just clicks. I think the sear is sticking but i'm not sure because I'm not very familiar with the piranhas because I usually use my 98. I'm open for any suggestions. It's kind of annoying when every 3 shots it doesn't shoot.

You need to be more descriptive. "Just clicks" doesnt help me much.

i was hoping you could tell me. Instead of it shooting it just clicks like the sear is not catching on where it's supposed to.

So the sear isnt catching on the striker? (in 98 terms, the sear isnt catching on the back bolt?)

Check for wear, if you pull the cocking rod back and it doesnt stay back then either the sear of the striker is worn out. PMI made some bad sears, so it's probably that. Call up the tech line and tell them about it. They'll send a new one for free.


BTW, '98 terms' was just to help you understand it some more...
