My team(Outlawz) and I were playing in our first tournament. We were already had a big lead in points, but we were still lacking "the" game of the tourney. Every game so far had lasted at least 10 minutes, even the ones on the speedball course.
Then, our back-up player, Ryan, came up with a plan. We would take the other team by surprise. On the break, two of us, Adam and I, would sprint up directly to the flag, grab it, duck, and run back to our own station(where the flag had to be returned to).
Meanwhile, our the rest of the team would be practicing their rate of fire on semi-auto from the back of the field, firing over our heads at the opponents(one of our players, Zack, actually used up 300 rounds doing this.... on a TL Plus)
We soon realized a problem though. Even though their were two targets for them to split their fire on, we were still easy targets. So, the other flag carrier and I would run in installments, five seconds apart.
This worked wonderfully. Adam, the other front player, ran first and performed a perfect example of quick thinking: too much fire was focused on him, so he ran to the bunker closest to the flag on his side and started raining down paint, too. I continued the run, grabbed the flag, and ran back to our station and hung it. We got three of their players out as well.
We ended up doing this about four times. The other teams started to catch on, of course, but they still couldn't really combat it. They all froze when they saw the air thick with paint.
We plan to use this play(modded, obviously) in the future. We realize it was part luck, but the memories are great. A ten second game is like a dream come true.
(Note: I'm pretty sure this is what most teams do already. Please do not flame me for it. I just wanted to tell about the games.)
