It came on my gun because I bought it used. I was wondering what it does that the stock one didn't. Is there a better one?

For the guy that bought it, it makes his wallet lighter. :D
It's a un-needed part. The stock valve is fine, some say BETTER than aftermarket parts.

I disagree. The PMI perfect charger is often called an "8 Hole mod". Although many say it is an uneeded part, I have had very good luck with mine. The idea is to reduce shootdown, although the mag simply cannot increase much air flow becuase of the original routing design for the air/nitro/co2. The way I see, it cannot hurt at all and may actually help reduce shootdown. Mine was included with my gun as well, I just simply left it there.
P.S.- the PMI Perfect chager is made for PMI by Air Gun Designs (says so right below the "perfect charger") from a stock valve piece. So basically, it is the same thing as a stock AGD valve piece with room for more air flow.
