i just got a jt spectra ize in red and i play a lot of paintball in the woods. since the red mask is gonna stick out like a sore thumb, i was thinking about painting the goggles. is it ok to use spray paint or do i have to use airbrush or something?

I'm sure it's fine if you spray paint them (I think) but make sure that you let it dry for at least a week and just to warn you, it's super hella hard to get the lense out, let alone put it back on. I reccommend selling it and getting a REG. Flex-7 in black or olive because painting an IZE is kinda retarded.......... The whole point of IZE's is to stick out (red is mainly for refs) and look sharp....... But if you got it really cheap off of pbgeeks err something then I can understand why. Oh and paint both sides of the mask because if the light is shining through it and the back is still red, then it'll be visible, but don't paint the foam or it will be all scratchy and it'll run on your face when you sweat. Good luck

you could always purchase a camo hood or a jacket with a hood.
As for me, I actually spray painted my JT Nvader mask. Taking out the lenses wasn't nearly as hard as removing the little air vent cover thingys (which I didn't have to remove, but I did anyways to give the mask a more unique look). Problem is, the spray paint peels off, particularly in places where the mask is shot by a paintball, but also just from everyday wear and tear. If you want your mask painted camo, then you might want to try a more permenant paint than just spray paint.
