Elbows

I am kind of new to this paintball stuff and I have just purchased a Viewloader Revelation. I bought everything hat is needed including a VL 200 hopper. The hopper came with an elbow and it does not fit on the hopper port at the top of the gun. I was wondering what the elbow is usually used for.

2)if the elbow has screws loosen them if it doesn't try sanding the inside of the elbow

ok your gun is direct feed which means that you do not need the elbo keep it but you dont need it see that thing on the top of your gun stick the little black end of the hopper into the big blue thing on top and that the right way .. yes i no what all those things are but if i told him he wouldnt get it

I'm the biggest noob in this world, and i just touched a paintball gun on saturday for the first time in my life. I don't even know what an elbow is lol!! I'm guessin its the thing that attatches the hopper to the marker?? I'm lookin at buyin a gun to start out with, my first time i rented a piranha semi-. NE1 have a good idea for a noob gun, i've looked at maybe a spider aggressor???
