your selling your matrix, or your shocker or both??
heh, you know your matrix could outperform the angel .. :wink2: :wink3:

I'd probably sell both... not yet though... dont quite have the extra 500$ I need.
how so? speed? maybe... angel is maxed at 12 bps.
my matrix is 16.
accuracy? distance?
thats all B.S. man... if you have 2 identical paintballs, comming out of the same barrel, at the same velocity, you will get the same results. its physics man.
its all about the paint to barrel match.
I am bored with my markers... I want some high class shyt.
back to the topic.... any advice?

Yah you got me on that one.. w/ the angel you have 26 different fire modes that you will never use ;)
There is more too accuracy then that. Otherwise, we woudl all put a nice regulator on a stingray w/ a new barrel and perfect paint/barrel match and we would all have markers that are just as accurate as a shocker/matrix..
And the lesser kick of the matrix makes it more "real life accurate" then the visious angel...

personally (completely opinion here!!) i dont like matrixs, but i love angels :D . i would go with a bonebrake if i were you just because dan is cool and he lives near here, and they are just sweet guns, i think either way you will be one lucky SOB ;)

I agree. go with the bonebrake. Contact me when selling your shocker.
I'd go with the Cobra. Resale is higher. None-stock milling. Course, I just feel that a Cobra is better overall, but I'm biased. You'll be happy with either, though.

I think he meant why dont you like the Matrix.
I, personally think it is a damn good movie!
...right...
I love my matrix man. it is great... i just want to go one step higher... and an angel is the only marker above it.
(personal opinion... not up to discussion, so dont waste your time)
I am still not sure between the bonebrake and the cobra
(it would be a red mamba, double trigger)
I personally love the bonebrakes... I have seen this picture of a silver 2000 body, with red parts (grip, rise, etc etc) looked damn nice.)
both cost about the same...
so... I dont know.

hmm i can see that if you wanted to get a marker that would be fun and not get bored w/ (how can you get bored w/ 26 fire modes and a gameboy lcd screen? you can even CREATE your own fire modes (ridiculous)..which could keep your attention for hours)
but on the field..i would go w/ a matrix over an angel.. but a SO LED (NO LCD) Angel could be nice :D

heh.. i think this matrix looks pimp..i dunno what kind it is, or what reg is on it..
The ASA looks thicker and more stable then the stock matrices..and it has a different reg/foregrip w/ a grip-like thing on it.. it looks sweet, im likin the chrome

first... venom:
wait, wait, wait.... you think the matrix is uglier than the timmy?
you said you wont buy the matrix because it is fugly? the timmy is a hellovalot uglier than the matrix... both perform nearly identical though.... the matrix (I think) has a better feel to it.
alloleander: I am sorry to bust your bubble, but that matrix doesnt really exist. that is just a prototype that diablo used in their ads....
sorry...
matrices dont look all that bad....

its just opinions, everyone has a different opinion, i like the way the timmi looks  and it has ACE . . . but of course someone is gonna say the matrix doesnt need one cuz with a trinity it cant chop, blah blah blah :blah:
AllOleander: anchorite is right, that design never made it into production. The reg is a Stabilizer, too. There, the vertical adapter is connected to the main body through the front of the frame. When the beehive reg was added, they made the frame shorter so that it wasn't between the reg and main body. They changed the 45 grip panel style shown there for the three screw LCD style. Changed the highrise. Isn't chrome, either. Just raw aluminum.

Isnt that a Macdev Gladiator reg?:eyes:

i dont think so . . . it doesnt look like, in fact im sure its not cuz why would they put a mac dev glad on a stock gun unless the companies were at an agreement, which they arent . . .

Nope. If you can find the enlarged version of that, you can easily tell what reg it is. Besides, can't be a Gladiator. Look at where the input is.
Story I hear behind the reg change is that a Stabilizer was originally used and going to be used when they went into production, but they had problems with them performing at the low operating pressure.

Actually, there were 2 of those matrices made. One I assume is somewhere in Diablo's hands the other belongs to Greg (aardvark). Alot of people comented on why the change from 45 grips to LCD grips but the 45s dont actually fit that matrix. They were taped on prior to the photo being taken :)
It's fun being on a paintball team with all the aardvark guys :D
And I'd go with the cobra

I've played with both.
the performance is comparable...
some people think angels shoot like shyt...
that isnt true at all man.
it it were true, dont you think that over 60% of tournament players would not be playing with angels?
that isnt the case though...
I like my matrix... lots of people dont know what it is on the feild... most people think it is one of the older angels.. like the 98's or somehting.. before they came out with lcd.
and I love the feel of the grip frame and trigger... I like it better than my old 45 cocker grip.
(which I still have... I have a benchmark 45 for a cocker, but no cocker..)
ohh well.
I dont exactly have the 1700 to spend on a marker just yet... probalby by the end of next semester.... I am trying to get a car now.
