Stock, I'd say you could shoot 8-10. They are faster when upgraded, and even faster when e-bladed. But stock, I don't find them particularly fast.

Compared to other stock markers in its price range a cocker is slow. Imps are faster.
This is what i have heard

This is what i have heard Although this is true, the impulse really isn't in the same price range. But yeah, the impulse is alot faster.

well for the price difference being so little and the Speed being so much greater i think it is worth the extra $
He was not asking you about an impluse, he was asking about autocockers...
An autococker is not really designed to be a rapid fire gun. Although, with the right upgrades it can do 20 bps (balls per second). I have a video of a guy firing his cocker at 20bps, and if you don't believe me I can send it to you...
Anyway, autocockers have more consistency than most guns, and consistency is what effects accuracy the most in paintball...
So, autocockers don't have very high bps, but make up for it in accuracy...

cockers aren't more accurate than any other marker that is consistent, has a high quality barrel, high quality paint, and paint that matches the barrel. when shooting fast kick also comes into play, but most electro pneumatic markers have low kick.

The closed bolt system is overall more consistent. With an autococker you don't need to have a high quality barrel, high quality paint, and paint that matches the barrel to be more consistent than the average gun.

ok cockers are fast i don't know what you guys are talking about. one of the backs on my team uses an almost stock 03 cocker and the guy rips on it. But it all comes down to what YOU think YOU can play your best with and for my team mate we want let him shoot anything but a cocker

Sorry, but with a closed bolt marker, you really need a good paint to barrel match... if you don't have one, the balls will just roll out like dysentary.
