ok i have 2 tippmann 98customs and one of them does not have an expansion chamber, and one of them does, the one that does eats up a LOT more air then the one without it...whats the reason for this?? its the basic tippmann ex chamber and i run out of a 20oz tank by the end of the day while i have almost 2 days of air when not usin the ex chamber, i dont even see the ex chamber do much to help besides silence the gun some...

They are a waste of money, because anti-siphon tubes are better and cheaper.

complete waste of money, and they eat up gase because there is more room for CO2 to be out of the tank before it goes in the gun, so like, if you don't use it, you lose the gas when you unscrew the tanks...i think

Not really, your marker holds more gas in it. You can (most times) still shoot after your tank is off if you have an X-chamber.

I wasn't sure about it, but I do know X-chamber do almost nothing in terms of performance and efficency.
