The rear bolt on the shroud of my Flatline will not fit the 98 Custome. I'm sending both back b/c I'm not sure if the gun or the shroud is off. I probably stripped the screws screwing around with is that I might as well get a new one. Dude, I'm like so mad.

My rear bolt/screw worked fine. Not sure what your problem could be... I know the shroud was a little tricky to get snapped down into place, but it went on eventually...

When my buddy was getting his model 98 he was seliberating between a flatline and a boomstick. When we went to put the flatline on the adapter piece had been threaded wrong. It would screw into the barrel threads fine but tippmann had machined it srong and the adapter was sitting to the side so the barrel would not go in. Kinda sucked and that was the only one they had in stcok so he just got the boomer. Point is that sometimes the adapter threading gets machined wrong. Technically you just need anew adapter but you could also send it back and get a brand new set up. Either way works.

yes all flatlines are like that you must take the reciever apart and set the adapter in
they had a bad problem in the amnufactor of all flatlines

No man...you don't understand. The machining that they did on the adapter was flawed. Taking the receiver apart did nothing. So don't et me wrong...I'm sure there are othre problems but this one was a little different.
