400 shots out of a 48/3k steel sounds just about right. I know a friend who got around 400-450 shots with the same tank. So there's nothing wrong with the tank or gun. Because it's steel, it'll heat up much more, causing the air to expand then go back to normal. This causes a loss of psi.
A fiber 68/45 will make a tremendous difference. Have fun you silly little freak.

I agree. For a 48/3000 your shot count sounds pretty average.

my geuss is about 750-800, and thats if you can find a good 4500 psi fill, and than after it is filled to that it drops to about 4000 after it cools  it should be plenty enough shots though . . . i got about 1300 shots from mine on my gun yesterday (in sig)

It sounds like you want to believe your valve has a problem, no matter what others say.
Try out the tank more and see. Do some testing.

it will get tested this weekend and i dont want to believe something is wrong but if there is i wanna get it fixed i couldnt go on without my mag:cry: but i have asked alot of people and pretty convinced nothing is wrong now so im happy for the most part and what is the smallest setup anyone has ever seen on a mag im gonna get an elcd and now i have an 8 inch drop i was thinking of getting a 3 inch drop extender and a 10 inch freak.......is that too small?

i guess an 8 inch drop would work fine with your 68/45, and the 10 inch freak would too. you have a nice setup after you get all that. and also i dont think anything is wrong with your gun or valve or anything. that is a normal amount of shots. especially if you have a heavily ported barrel (any smart parts barrel).
i do not recomend an ELCD. If you want an electronic trigger get a hyperframe. or if you want a good looking frame with a short pull look to buy an AGD double trigger. im getting one :)

i dislike hyperframes uncomfy and not to mention ugly as he** and i was going to trade for an elcd because no one has a AGD blade trigger to trade yet
