I don't know if anyone had one of these besides me. The Turbo Touch 360 was a controller for the oldschool Nintendo, (the original) where instead of pushing the buttons to use the controller, all you had to do was touch them, and they would react. Basically a touch sensitive pad. Now, I don't know if its possible (I know nothing about electros, but I think it must be possible), I was wondering what you people would think if they could put one of these babies to use on an electro. Touch the "trigger" pad, and that sets off the solenoid.

Seems to me it'd be a boon to anyone who shot quite a bit. Literally no fatigue (I can vouch for that on hours and hours of non-stop nintendo play.:D ) and it'd redefine a 'short' trigger pull (none?).
The only problem I could see would be safety... it'd be really easy to accidentally touch the pad. But if they could get around it?

It's possible. But it'd go off very easily..would you want to shoot your foot while running?

Legal, nope. NPPL rules indicates one shot per trigger pull/release. Placing your finger over a sensor wouldn't count.

and how many people really play in the NPPL

a lot of people that post on these forums and at pbnation dont play in the NPPL, so NPPL rules really dont matter.

I think if you had the electronics savvy to hook up a touchpad to an electro trigger, then rigging a safety wouldn't be hard at all. All you'd need to do would be to hook up a switch between the trigger/touchpad-thingy and the solenoid, and flip it open to safe the gun.

Its already been done. Actionjunkie put one of those switches on an excalibur(i think).. go to team wiseguys website.

it's really dumb, but really cool,

Where the NPPL goes, the world will follow :|

Well, sorta. AuctionJunkie put a reed switch in his bushmaster instead of a microswitch and actually pulled thet rigger right out. The way a reed switch works, is that it is thrown by a magnet and sends a signal, as opposed to pressure like most level type switches. The user would wear a tiny magnet in his trigger finger, and just passing the finger over the switch caused it to fire.

I can do it with my shocker....its fun when your are playing but I in one day I shot my barrel plug out three times which really sucks cause then you gotta clean the barrel and crap.

well that's kinda what most electro triggers are, you just touch the micro switch with the trigger and it shoots, the oulls are more of taps or vibrations. so what you're explaining is pretty much just the avg, electro trigger (i think impulse work differently) but you have the trigger inbetween, about having sensitive, triggers, i never put my barrel condom on before i turn off my marker. if i do, i always shoot a ball into it :pissed: everytime.

No no no man...your not getting what I am saying. He is basically wanting to know if there are triggers that you don't even pull...you just touch....no pulling...just touching. Now what I am saying is this. My shocker has a switch like a cross bar safety behind the trigger, ( probably was suppose to be a safety but whatever) and when you push it like you would activate the safety it turns the trigger into a touch plate rather then an actual trigger. The trigger will not move but it is so sensitive I don't have to touch the thing to fire it. I can blow on it. If you don't believe me you can ask Flash but that's what I was trying to say. Most triggers don't do that. Mine has had extensive work done on it as well so it doesn't come stock like that either.

That is what I was saying Simon. So just thought I would further clarify. Hope I explained everything properly.
