Why not? Seems a good a reason as other guns like Autos, semis, stock, etc

Why play paintball around baloons (sup air - yes I know its a simplification)?

whatever flips yer biscuits. looks pretty neat as is but would be bulky with 2 hoppers. maybe if they can custom make that they can design a double feedneck hopper so it'd be vertical instead of power feed.

Think about it... any marker that fires more than 1 ball/trigger pull is illegal in tourney play... and this one fires two.

"6.32 Players may use a single, 68 caliber, pump or semi automatic paintball marker, which consists of a single barrel, a single trigger. Double action triggers and paintball markers capable of firing in other than semi auto or pump mode are prohibited."

Some one should make one that alternates the barrel that fires, technically its shooting one ball per pull, but its still got 2 barrels though.

Ok now here is a rather noob's question but I will ask it anyway. Why are full auto guns prohibited? I could see banning them if they gave some kind of awesome advantage over others but from what I see, they don't.

Here is my logic. I have had 3 guns. Bone stock spyder classic. Modded classic (much faster the stock, but stil slow). And now a spyder flash lcd. Well the flash is by far the fastest. It has the nice little electro trigger and such. It claims 13 bps in full auto and is capped at 13 bps in semi. Well I can fire just as fast in either mode. In semi I am a little less consistant but the difference is it takes me 1-2 more seconds to drain a full hopper. No I have a freind that I pb with and he has a matrix (I think). It is a semi only. He uses it in turnys and such. My thing is that he can fire WAY faster with his gun in semi that I could ever wish for when I am in full auto. So my own conclusion is that full auto is not really something great and all powerfull. So why is it banned?

they dont allow full auto because well the person with the fastest board will ahve an unfair advantage over some noobs playin with rentals. secondly its a safety matter, because if your playin with for example a spyder e-99 (13bps) on full auto and you hold the trigger down on somebodies goggles for 1 second, there is a high chance that the goggles may fail from being hit 13+ times. its alot easier for someone to over shoot when all they have to do is hold the trigger down, rather then having to pull, on semi you have more control.

im prolly wrong but thats just what i think

In the thread he intorduced the gun in, Doc said he had thought about making it fire the barrels alternately but it was to complex a valve function to work out.

There were of course double barrel guns that preceded the Typhoon. There was the Duce, which was a double barrel pump.

Some fields don't allow double barrel guns because of the percieved danger of two balls striking a mask at the same time. Same reason that insurance companies won't allow fields to allow auto-fire.

Personaly I think Doc made the double barrel cocker because he can. He is an artist after all.

I saw one that was 16 barrels one time...

You just had to sit it down you couldn't hold it. I wish I could find a picture of it... it was really odd.

I heard the hell hound shoots so incredibly fast, they have to set it on a really low rof mode for safety. I dunno if thats true or not, just hearsay.
