I'm just curious, but what are the valid reasons for banning someone? I just want to know what to avoid doing :D

um, probably a few others

Short ways to banishment:

Flaming mods
Cussing 10,000 times a post
Making 10,000 threads about nothing
Making 10,000 threads about the same thing in different forums
Ignoring warnings
Repetitive behavior that leads others to generally not like you... etc...

Slow ways to banishment:

Annoying people a little bit every single day until we're sick of you and hit the 'wrong button'. :)

Follow the rules, and you're good. :P
