I am thinking of trading my:
-Blue 2k3 vert reg Impulse
-Planet Eclipse Magno Trigger
-16oz Anti-Siphon
-Dye Raptor Drop Forward
-Dye Stickies
For a:
-Black 2000 Angel LCD
-Red High Rise Feedneck
-Red 14in. Infinity Series Barrel
-Angled ASA
-88ci 3000psi Air America fiber wrapped tank...the tank doesnt have the dovetail mounting system, just the tank and the on-tank reg that can screw into ASAs.
-Charger
-Manual
*NOTE*The board has to be replaced in the Angel...it fried or something...
Fair or not? What upgrades do you reccomend for the Angel if it's a fair trade?

The Angel is definitely a better designed and manufactured marker than the Impulse but that one is pushing 4 years old and sounds like it might need some work... It is your choice, sounds like an even trade though.

Board replacments can run $100.00 or more depending on the gun...some after-market boards like hte WAS Equalizer run like $120.00 and then installation...
That being said, it's your choice, but I personally would take the trade provided it is from a *reliable seller* that will tell the full extent of repairs required.

If the boards broken, odds are other things weren't taken care of and they're broken too.

Well this guy is my teammate and we are going to have his gun checked out by a local shop to see what the problem is and what it will cost to fix it first. This shop is one of our sponsors and they would probably give us a discount to fix it...what is the most I should spend to fix it for it to be a fair trade?

$250.00 is the maximum that I would go. I don't really know the respective values of either set-up though, so I shouldn't be used as a referance to ascertain at what point the trade becomes weighted in your teammates favor.

Geez I didn't think a new board would be so expensive...

LCD's are starting to sell for cheaper and cheaper, especially 2000's and non C&C's, that and on top of the fact that his board fried... Not worth it, if your marker is working, keep playing with it and start looking at different Angels, just my opinion though...

Good point, I saw a '98 LED (were they LCD or LED back then, the numbers a jumbled in my head?) go for around $450.00 or so on E-Bay...
