Ok, yeah, Im a newbie. Help me out. (Hey, you were a newbie too, once!)

First, I have the JAVA Deluxe edition of the compact 2k, are they exactly the same?

Is the J&J Ceramic barrel a good barrel for the compact 2k, if not, what is?

Should I polish the internals, if yes, what do I polish and how do I do it?

are regulators compatable with co2?

Could I use nitro with a compact 2k??

What does the low pressure chamber do?

What other possible upgrades should I consider investing into?

Nope. The JAVA edition has the quick strip pin, and a different color.

Is the J&J Ceramic barrel a good barrel for the compact 2k, if not, what is?
Yes, it is. Lapco Bigshots and CPs are also good choices to look into.

Should I polish the internals, if yes, what do I polish and how do I do it?
Your choice. I polished mine for the reason that I got bored. :) You would polish the striker and bolt. Remember to remove the o-rings before polishing... I would take fine sand paper and keep rubbing it against the striker until it becomes really smooth, and shiny. As for the bolt, you can't really tell, as you already have a "shiny" bolt...

are regulators compatable with co2?
Yes.

Could I use nitro with a compact 2k??
Yes.

What does the low pressure chamber do?
It's supposed to store additional air behind the valve, so that your gun can recharge faster. It really doesn't do much though... :|

What other possible upgrades should I consider investing into?

Turbo valve, straightfeed, Warp Feed, spring kit, etc., etc. There's a whole list out there, take a look and see what you want. :) Remember, there's absolutely no problem in being a "newbie" so ask us any questions you may have. :D

Thanks a lot, Hsuve. I need to know though, what IS better, the BigShot or the Ceramic?? Also, wouldnt I look stupid at the local paintball field with, a 12 volt revy, a nitro system, bottomline with gas-thru expansion chamber handle, a regulator, dropforward, and a rear-cocking system all on a Compact 2k?? Cuz if not, thats what Im gunna do for sure to my gun.

Also, what the hell is a turbo valve, straight feed, warp feed, and a spring kit??

I've used the Ceramic and the Bigshot, and personally, I like the Bigshot better. It is louder, however, as there's little porting, but overall, it's still pretty quiet. No, you wouldn't look stupid at the field at all. I bring a tricked out Spyder, and don't mind it at all. Shoots like a dream too. :D
Turbo valve - High flowing valve
Straightfeed - 'Cocker style feed tube
Warp Feed - Force feed system
Spring kit - A little package with springs :)
