Do Piranhas, Spyders, M98, or any other gun similar to these need a Revy? If so, a 9 or 12 or 18 volt?

I have a shutter and use a 12 volt. A 9 volt would work well also.

A revvy is a nice accessory to have, but I think you need to ask yourself if you really need it. Are balls getting hung up in the elbow, is your rate of fire so fast that your chopping balls in the breach ... if so, then you should seriously consider getting one, if not, I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think there is a point in getting a revvy for spyders or piranhas unless you have the E-LCD frame.

You're right Freak ... It's definitely an ROF accessory. I'd apply the money toward something else.

it all depends how fast u shoot. I have a fast trigger finger, and a 1/16th pull on my trigger, so i can should pretty damn fast. I neeeded a 12 volt because i can out shoot a 9 volt. It all depends. For most people though,a 9 volt is eneough. Also, 9 volts can be found at like walmart for 20 bucks, so theyre not that much money.

Since I started using a revy (more than half a year ago) I have noticed less chops and plus I cant take the look of a normal hopper anymore

Unless you notice that you are outshooting your hopper then I wouldn't worry about it. However, if you do decide to get a revolution, go ahead and get the 12v... the 9v is pretty weak and you will wish you would have taken the 12v

For Anyone: At what ROF should you start to consider a Revvy? I can shoot 7bps with my Fishy, and I know I don't need one, so, would it be 10, 12, 15 ... Is there a magic number?

i started using a revvie when my balls started to jam up...which was at about 6 bps..

I've only experienced that problem when the paint began to swell due to humidity ... I haven't had it happen since. But, it's something to think about.

Instead of buying a Revy I bought a PMI Razzor barrel but I havent tried it yet. Do any of you know anything about it? It looks so sweet!

I have one on my gun right now,as far as i can tell its a far barrel.Theres better out there but for the cost of it wasn't bad. I got it used but it still good. Most of all my gear is used ,Well for my guns that is.

I saw that it had a 9.6 on the reviews. And a guy named AJ said it was only $35.99 at http://www.stalkerpb.com and I was surprised because the cheapest I could find it for was $49.77!

Instead of buying a Revy, should I go low pressure on my Piranha?

if you fire fast get one...if not don't unless you just want to be a show off with an expensive looking gun.

get the revolution first. YOu'll need it more htan you need low pressure...after you get the revvie, then go low pressure..cuz low pressure takes up alot mor money, so you might as well get one thing right now, and go for the lp setup a little later on. chances are you'll be needing a revvie soon...

whenever i try to shoot fast i chop paint! that sucks. It's hard to remember to not pull the trigger so fast when i play sometimes. I have to keep that in the back of my mind (don't pull trigger fast, dont' pull trigger fast!) I am thinking about getting a revy, by the way I have a Spyder TL+.

Do I need a 9v or 12v for a Piranha STS G2 and where is the cheapest place ya'll have seen them?

you only need a revy if you can out shoot your hopper and chop balls b/c of it. You can get one at your local store. I wouldnt order online unless your getting other stuff w/ it.

TLplus84

it depends...if you can shoot over like 11 bps, get the 12 volt, but if your starting out and are fast enough to jam up a regular hopper, but isn't insanely fast, get a 9 vt.

Do any of you have a Hobbytown USA near your house, if so, do they have them? Because that is my proshop, its a national chain.
