Someone Paintballed my Brothers Car [Archive]

Last night when I was sleeping someone did a drive by in our neighborhood with a paintball gun. My brother's car and a few other cars were shot. From what my parents and my brother gathered from eye witnesses, there was a guy driving a truck and a guy in the truck bed shooting at parked, and moving cars. I was asleep at the time, but I remember my mom coming into my room and telling me about it. Today I thought I had dreamed the whole thing up, but my mom came home and mentioned it, so I guess it really did happen.

Now I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, crime or anything of the sort rarely happens here. We even have neighborhood security guards, since there is only one road in and out of the community.

Here's the thing, I was talking to my brother when he came home from work, and while he was filing the report with the police last night other people who whos car's had been shot were filing reports too. Turns out the shooters didn't only shoot parked cars, they shot at moving cars too. Our road is a two way street, so while the shooters were going down the street, they shot a car going up the street. The guy in the car had his window open and the paintball(s) actually hit the interior of his car. A difference of a few feet and they would have hit him in the face.

truly sucks

drive bys wont disapear, but i hope the idiots that do them die.
i was watchin the local news awhile ago and there was a guy hiding in a field shooting people at 1:00am, just shooting cars and stuff, and a cop drove by and the guy shot the cop in the left eye (window was open), now the cop had to leave the force because he couldnt see.

Something like this happend to one of my friends. However he got thier licence plate # tracked them down and later scared the out of them dry fireing at 18 bps full auto. (he has a mako frame). Needless to say no other cases likr this have happpend in our area sence.:P

I really hate people like that some people hate the spor enough as it is. /why try and completly bury it? People are trying to tell me to go out tagging on halloween. Little did they know that I told the right people and got them in some pretty deep shiznit.

People who vandalize with paintball markers need to be tormented slowly to death.

For the people who promote paintball and for all players, we should really get the message out there that paintball goggles are a must and why they're so important. I've met people and told them I paintball and they had no idea you had to wear goggles to play. I explain the dangers of getting hit in the face by a paintball marker. Maybe if all the idiots at least knew that sort of information, they'd think and stop vandalizing with paintballs so that they don't risk getting filed with murder or something.

hows the car? im assuming no major damage? But anyway i hope they can get those kids. I always thought how much fun it would be to do somthing like that, but i never will because of all the bad stuff that follows.

its so irratating that people would do this. First off, they're being insanely idiotic, and then, why? just why? what the heck. it doesn't make sense to vandalize with paintball guns. Why paintball? why pick on an awesome sport like paintball? I have never seen anyone go randomly breaking windows with baseball bats, or throwing soccer balls through windows, or better yet, driving golf balls at things. why never those? why always paintball? Must they buy brass eagles from walmart thinking theyre cool, and then use them like complete skahta malakas? (slipped into a bit of greek there) Errrgh, i seriously want to take them 1 on 1 in paintball and show em what its really all about. errrrrrgh.

and now since everyones filing reports, everyone has a bad image about paintball. :pissed: Maybe all it takes is for one of the vandalizers to shoot someone in the eye and kill the person or something and the vandalizer gets charged with murder, and they get put on death row. Maybe then everyon will see that vandalizing is wrong. But then again, everyone would then think paintball is a dangerous sport......

They were driving a white truck. A toyota most likely.

They shot up my brothers 96 eclipse and a few other cars.

I hate to hear that kinda crap (your story is fine), but when people are giving paintball a bad rep. Its just like sk8 boarding (in my city anyway), a few kids with a chip on their shoulder can ruin it for everyone. Here in Lewis County, WA you can't sk8 (leagally) anywhere except for the sk8 park. Even if you are just sk8ing to get from A to B!! And now they are starting to crack down on bike riding too!! What the heck??

Anyone ever see that thing on 60 minutes or 20/20 about the four guys that got a paintball gun and drove around shooting random people? They recorded it and everything. They would just drive by and shoot people riding bikes, sitting at bus stops, or just walking down the street. I think they even shot one guy in the face. The guys that did that, shot be stripped down naked, tied to a pole, then shot at from 5 feet away at 18bps and 320fps.

a 96 eclipse, huh? hire somebody to track them down and cut their saks off.:P just out of curiosity, were they shooting wal-mart paint? every vandal in my area shoots wal-mart.:rolleyes: but still, paintball is helping society right there too by lessening the damage. i'm the only one that sees it, though. if they didn't have paintballs they might have used rocks. then someone could have been hurt instead of stung. and no joke, mullen. and paintball is attracting the wrong kind of people. william shatner? idol worship went a bit too far with that one. :rolleyes: the stuff we allow for publicity.:eek:

every time something like this happens near our field, danny(the dude that owns the field) bawls out the people who did it. he sees all because his cousin is a cop and he generally finds out who did what and verbally attacks them. that's about it though. you guys can keep talkin about castration and governmental interferance but personally i'd rather just play them. bunker em and just light them up. even after they're hit, just keep going at them.make them bleed. can insert sound bytes? i would put a high pitched avil laugh here.:laugh: use your imagination. and i wouldn't put them in jail with the manly man who has been without. when they're released they might start playing paintball and i don't want a huge ex-con named bubba being my backman. ewwwwwwwwwww!!!!!:eek:
