check this site out...Ravi's got a great site full of great info....read it ...study it...learn it....make it a part of your life....J/k.....but do read it and learn how to time it....very important in keeping your marker running reliably...

Well, the biggest tip i think i can offer anyone who buys a high end cocker like that is dont make the mistake of tinkering with it. it is a totally custom gun and has come from the shop ment to perform at its best. take my shocktech cocker for example, you mess with it it costs 200 to get danny love to re-adjust everything so it performs like it did when it forst got into your hands.and yes please look at ravis site for cocker info.

Oh ****e! This is your first marker?. Ok, This is VERY important, DON'T Fux0r with it. Don't tweak it, mess around with it or open it (This doesn't include taking the bolt out ). First off, go to www.paintballravi.com and learn how to time it, and learn all the cockers bits. out loud...:). Are you going to run it on Co2? If yes, Make sure to upgrade to Nitro soon. Custom Cockers don't like their Co2. You're going to have to take this slowly, ok? Cockers (not to mention custom ones) are not friendly newbie markers...

As for oiling it...

After each day of playing take out the bolt and clean it. Then clean the chamber and stuff. Rub on some paintball gun oil or vasoline (Thin layer...) on the bolt.

After around 2 bottles of Co2 or air, put 7ish drops of sewing machine oil or paintball gun oil in your asa. Take off barrel. Insert co2 or air. Then fire her around 20-30 times (You can do this without using up paint:)).

tanks, 4 all de tips i appreciate every 1 of 'em,
as 2 why i got a cocker instead of like.. a tippman , well i knew i wouldn't have enough cash to buy both , [ it took me around 2 yrs ] to save up 800 bucks for my Dark Cocker, so i decided to just screw the noobs gun and go 4 the ultimate =p, :D

Thanks again please send more :D

Nah, There's nothing wrong with buying a cocker as your first marker. You can't just start opening it up, like a tippmann or spyder :).
