Buddy, ill tell you
at 30 yards(90 feet) with RPS premium paint and my gun straped to a modified stand for pump rifles, i put paint on top of each other, shot after shot after shot.
sighting takes a while of getting used too
um... the barrel is a little large so small bore paint aint a great idea.
very good on gas, i get about 45 shots per 12 gram
pumping is a little tough with the spring, but with it off its a dream.
just go to stock class phantom on the review board, my review should be the first one that you see, the reviewers name is sniping hick. and im selling mine if you interested.

but that was a day with no wind, none at all, and sometimes you will get velocity spikes, (above 90 degrees F) making balls fly all over the place. i can ussally keep them with in a 10 inch radius on the stand at 30 yards. I think its worth the money i spent, im selling mine because i need more balls per second. the fact that at the most i get about 3 persecond, that makes speed ball quick elimination games for me.

Ya i assumed it was an abnormaly calm day or inside but...10" thats better than a flat line barrel. do you know what paint works best in the phantom? im guessing RPS premium becase that is what you used. can you put a 4oz tank on where you put the 12 grams.
thanks

No, RPS newer paints arnt that great, i was shooting balls with the old more laytex like shell, with the new shell the paint slides out of my barrel. I would say to use big ball or any larger sized paint. If you want a new barrel when you get the gun(i doubt you'll want a new one.) there are limited options, lapco makes the autospirit(small bore) Dye makes the stainless steel model(expensive med bore) and the CCI nickel plated is better then the stock barrel. I believe that CCI's carbon fiber will be out soon, but who knows.
anymore questions just post them here.
yes you can out the 4 oz there. all you have to do is take out the 12 gram adapter and you can screw in anytank. I would buy a VA if your going to use a small tank like that. it balances the marker that much better(less liquid in the gun, i've been having that problem) i
