Dwell settings?

I'm confused about dwell settings. I know they change your velocity. But, I have my maxflo at 180. When I first starting cronoing my gun it was pretty low. So I turned it up some.
I also hear that you can have your dwell to high and having your pressure high and dwell high at the same time is bad...
How do I know how far away from max or minimum my dwell is set at? Thx.

I was chopping a few balls today, thats why I'm curious.
It was about 35 degrees and I was playing with diablo blaze. Im using compressed air, 12v revvy. My gun is stock besides vision and tapeworm.

As for your dwell, I can't really tell you which exact incriment you're suppose to have it because every impulse is different along with the enviorment. However, have the pressure high along with high dwell decreases efficiency and generally isn't all that great. As for your chopping problems, i'm not sure but maybe you might want to clean your eye. I've also heard that the vision system isn't perfect... but i'm let someone else get back to u on that.

If it's set good now, bring down the dwell 1 beep at a time, and count how many beeps it takes, until it continously beeps when you try to lower it, meaning it can't get any lower. I'm thinking you broke balls, not chopped.
