Hey,

1. Does the RAT Impulse come with a tapeworm installed ?

2. To use a screw in tank, such as Pure Energy 68/4500, do I need to buy anything extra, or is it just straight forward, screw in and play?

3. How does the RAT compare to the Freak Factory one, assuming both are using same boards?

Thanks,
Max

The 03 Rat? It comes with VFF, which is better than the Tapeworm. Yes you just screw in your tank. The Freak is IMO a huge rip for the price, it is a decent Impulse, but costs way too much for what you get. Definitely go with the Rat.

dude unless you have an on/off , dont screw the tank right in. You could ruin your solenoid from to much pressure. You would do the ol', O-ring trick,.......put an extra o-ring in the asa and lower your operating pressure to about 100psi then screw your tank in and increase your pressure. But if you have an on/off just slowly let air into the gun. PS- I have a RAT and I love her so much, hasent givin me one problem yet. -splat-

The max flow regulates the pressure from the tank. Just screw her in and play.

Or did you mean that the pressure may be up to high right out of the box? Epbo sets them up so theres no way that could happen with a rat.

I dident know they set it out of the box, cause when i got mine i lowered the reg almost all the way so that I dident "shok" the solenoid. sorry. later -splat-

You wanna see the greatness of a rat? Go to forceofnature.com and scroll down to where it has a pic of a rat. It's nuts how fast it's shooting.
