Hey I'm planning on getting the sp mod for my bko. Do you think it is easier to just send in my gun or have them send me in a new ram? Would a new ram be tricky to install? Thanks

New rams are way easy to install. Should take you about 1 second.

Have you talked with Travis at shootpaint.com? I recently heard that they aren't doing any SP Mods right now 'cause they're working on a new design.

I would just go ahead and have it done to a new ram though when the time comes. You could coordinate with Shootpaint and order one up, have it shipped to them, modded, then sent to you. That way your gun's not down at all while you're waiting.

It is very simple to remove the old ram assembly. It is a time consuming process but there is nothing hard about removing it.
As far as the ram goes that is truely up to you. There is no benefit of using a new or a used ram when the SP Mod is applied to a BKO ram.

Currently we are excepting BKO rams for the SP Mod but we are not taking the B2K rams for the mod. We are working on a new design for the B2K's/Defiants.

Hey Travis, could I sent my old ram in with a money order enclosed or do I have to go through the shootpaint.com site?

You really should place an order through the website so you can track the process of your package.
We do except payments of money orders, so if you decide not to go through the website simply take a copy down of this thread and send it in along with your shipping information and description of the service you want.
Just write SP Mod on the paper so we know that is what you want and not a oring or something like that:D

When do you expect the new SP Mod to be available for B2K's?

So would I send you just the black ram assembly?

Fuzzy you will need to send in the entire ram assembly minus the solenoid.
I am not sure what model BKO you have so I cant really describe the parts that we need. Just make sure that it has everything on it that would be need to move the bolt forward and strike the valve.

PBinOR, all I can say it soon. I am currently talking to a machine shop about the production of these items. If we can get something worked out it will go from soon to very soon.

Okay cool, what about shipping though, should I just include some extra or is shipping included or what?

Shipping is not included in the price. You will need to supply the amount of money needed to return your ram to you, with the desired service.
